Great paper at a good price
If you are looking for a good photo paper that will give your images an almost watercolor like result this is it.

Epson Velvet Paper
It is great paper. The instructions say to print on the whitest side. It is very hard for someone with limited vision like me to tell which side is the whitest.

good paper but
This is a nice paper, as pretty much all epson papers are. However I found this paper to overly textured and didn’t seem to accept the ink from a 1280 very well.

Nice Look, Softer Finish
This paper produces prints that are not quite as sharp as you would get with premium glossy paper, or even matte photo paper, but it’s a very nice look.

I like this paper but…
I like this paper, its got a great fine art rough texture if that’s appropriate for the specific images you’re working on.
